The Capital Area Speech Language and Hearing Association (CASHA) is a 501c3 not for profit organization for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists in the Capital District of New York.  CASHA's function is to promote the profession of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as well as to maintain a liaison with other professional organizations and the community.  In addition, CASHA acts as an advocate for all persons with communicative impairments and provides opportunities for members to assemble regularly to engage in professional activities.

About Us

The Capital Area Speech and Hearing Association (CASHA) provides members with professional development opportunities. CASHA supports growth in the professions of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology through our student scholarship program and educational programs. We provide many ASHA CEU approved programs throughout the year.  We serve the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Otsego, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, Washington, Clinton, Essex, St. Lawrence, and Franklin. 

Why Choose the Capital Area Speech and Hearing Association (CASHA)?

CASHA offers up to 14 hours of CEUs annually with membership dues (via Zoom program meetings) as well as discounted conference rates.  CASHA also offers professional networking opportunities and members are informed of current job openings via the website and email blast.  All CASHA members are eligible for the distinguished service award.

CASHA is a nonprofit organization made up of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists dedicated to improving speech and hearing health through advocacy, education, and professional collaboration.

Membership is open to all licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, as well as students in these fields.
