Congratulations to 2026's
Scholarship winners...
Tessa Morris is an undergraduate at SUNY Plattsburgh who will be graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in the spring of 2027. She is interested in working with the pediatric population and early intervention. She hopes to create a positive and encouraging environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to express themselves.
Hannah Hartigan just graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Starting in the fall, she will be working toward her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Her goal is to work in a school and advocate for individuals with communication disorders by raising awareness and promoting access to resources.
We wish Tessa and Hannah the best of luck on their continued journeys in the CSD field and sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to our scholarship fund which helps make awards like these possible.

CAPITAL AREA SPEECH LANGUAGE HEARING ASSOCIATION (CASHA)
This scholarship is awarded to a student member of CASHA who is enrolled in a graduate program in a Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or Communication Sciences and Disorders program in the fall of 2023. Students must have a home address in the capital district, or be enrolled at a College or University in the capital district served by CASHA (Albany, Columbia, Greene, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, or Washington Counties).
