Speech Language Pathologist ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

 Pay: $55,000 – $85,000 based on experience and education

 Job Type: Full-time – Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 3:00 pm) – Clifton Park site or Fort Edward site

Job description:
School year and six-week Summer Program
Integrated and self-contained preschool classrooms, ages 3-5

Qualifications:

  • NYS Certification and NYS License – Required
  • CF Candidates will be considered
  • Experience with preschool population beneficial


Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Collaborate with team (speech, occupational, and physical therapy providers) to ensure a cohesive educational program.
  • Follow student’s IEP to plan and implement speech and language activities, monitor student progress, and provide IEP updates during the school year.
  • Follow all classroom New York State Next Generation Learning Standards.

About the Job:
Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time (9/1/2025 to 6/30/2026) Speech Therapist.  This position will deliver speech articulation as well as expressive and receptive language skills in accordance with NYS education standards and student IEP’s. The ideal candidate will work in a team environment with teachers, TAs, and other related service providers as an embedded SLP in K-2 classrooms. The school serves children with autism and other handicapped conditions.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proper NYS school certification in Speech/Language required (candidates who just completed a certification program will be considered). 
  • Preferred candidates will have their NYS License of Clinical Competency and experience working with Special Education students.
